Cindy Estada quickly made her mark in the Hispanic casting world by discerning the difference between a palatal lateral approximant and a voiced fricative, as only a native Spanish speaker can. In other words, when you want the neutral accent of a Mexico City architect, you won’t get the sounds of a Domincan snow cone vendor (or vice versa).

Cindy has been known to scour the universe for the most unlikely real people. Salty surf bums? World champion double dutchers? Geriatric line dancers? Teenage-African American-identical-triplets? You name it, she’ll find it. Cindy worked six years with Alyson Horn as a senior casting associate before becoming a casting director. Authenticity, speed, volume and consistency of presentation are hallmarks of Cindy’s Spanish and real people casting work.
